Gosh, a life without Internet. A curse and a blessing, with out a doubt!
The curse … so much information is constantly available, facilities and services are readily available, communications capabilities are being extended and I wouldn’t want to miss it.
The blessing … why does it have such a great attraction, it grabs you and holds you tight. So firmly that it confuses and messes up your priorities. You forget what is really important. A man without direct personal contact is a flawed human being. We need that personal contact and I see it as a challenge, not only for myself but also for others, to keep the balance. A digital context is nice but it’s only complementary to the human context.
Haha, nice words, but for now the Internet has a firm grip over me; the battle is not over yet.
